This trendy looking messenger-style camera bag is available in four colours: Blue Slate, Pinestone, Sandstone or Black. It also comes in three different materials: Sand-washed 100% cotton canvas (Pinestone and Blue Slate), 1100D polyspun polyester (Black), or leather.

Starting on the outside of the bag, the Retrospective 30 features a removeable, adjustable carrying handle and a padded, adjustable shoulder strap with silicone strips to stop it slipping off your shoulder. The outer material is treated with a durable water-repellent coating which forces rain water to bead off, but in the case of heavier showers there is also an included seam-sealed rain cover.

The Retrospective 30 has two side pockets ideal for a water bottle or small accessories and a large zip pocket that runs the length and depth of the bag that will house a 10” tablet. Moving to the inside of the bag, you can comfortably fit a gripped DSLR with a 24-70 f/2.8 attached or, for example, two Nikon D4s’, 70-200mm f/2.8 unattached, 24–70mm f/2.8 attached, 14-24mm f/2.8, and stiffened removable dividers all you to customise the bag to your individual needs.

The Retrospective also features another large zip pocket at the back suitable for more valuable items like your phone, wallet and keys, and a collapsible organiser pocket at the front that has a Velcro fastening. The two expandable front pockets feature Think Tank’s hook-and-loop ‘sound silencers’, which basically allow you to tuck the Velcro strips out of the way for added discretion (or only half way for reduced noise). I love this feature - it is ideal for tucking a couple of lenses away and being able to quickly and quietly switch between them, making it perfect for wildlife photography, wedding photography or any setting where discretion is necessary.

We found the Retrospective 30 has everything a camera bag needs without looking like it’s housing valuable contents. It is a wonderful combination of practical and stylish, and will make travel and shooting whilst out on location a breeze. RRP $194.75
