Who says practical can’t be cute? This Unicorn Powerbank is so sweet your friends will roll their eyes with envy (that’s what the eye roll means right?)

Unicorns, historically, have the power to purify, heal disease and injury, protect against illnesses and poisons, but modern science has got a lot of that covered these days, so they needed to up their game to remain relevant! Their first step was getting their own emoji and now they are using that image to branch out into powerbanks, the only logical step.

This powerbank has a 2000mAh capacity, enough to fully charge the iPhone 8 and earlier, or Samsung S3 and earlier. More recent models will receive a charge but not 100% - the Samsung S9 will receive 2/3rds from 0%. It has a tough and colourful PVC body and whilst the specs say it has a LED battery indicator, for the life of me I can’t find this. There is a blue glow around the base when you are charging the unicorn (didn’t expect to say that today); you can see a red flashing light in the USB port but that is it. There is a Mirco USB cable for charging the powerbank included, but you will need your regular charging cable to charge your chosen device.

it is rather sizable at 9cm x 13.5cm x 4.5cm and with its pokey ears and horn you want to carefully consider which pocket you choose to put it in. This charming powerbank would make a good present: it is low cost and can help give your phone a boost when away from a wall plug, or just stand around looking cute when not needed. RRP £14.99
