The Zepp works via sensors that slip into the provided calf sleeves, tracking important on-field stats for your team including total kicks, sprints, distance, max speed and more. It breaks your training down into eight main aspects: ‘Distance’ looks at the overall distance covered on the pitch and gives a breakdown of your speed from walk to run to sprint; ‘Max Speed’ will give you your fastest speed during training; ‘Sprints’ record how many times you move from a run to a sprint throughout the game; ‘Kicks’ recorded the number of kicks you make with you preferred foot (the foot you have the sensor on); ‘Kick Speed’ measures the velocity of those kicks; ‘Goal Conversion Rate’ shows you how successful you are in relation to the number of kicks; ‘Active Time’ shows you how long you were playing for and ‘Preferred Foot’ allows you to select your preferred foot or buy a second sensor for even more stats.

The companion app Maximize Zepp Play Soccer allows someone to record from the side-line and tag key events during the game, share highlights in real time, tag plays during the game, view ten second highlights at a touch of the screen and view the automatically generated post-game Video Highlight Reel. The app also lets you review and track your progress over time, view your personal bests, win rate, team stats and even add multiple teams and players.
