This compact little shoulder bag is available in two colours - either charcoal or a very attractive indigo blue (which we received). Don’t let the small size of the Turnstyle 10 V2.0 deceive you - it can easily hold a standard DSLR or larger mirrorless system (Sony A7, Panasonic GH4), an 8” tablet, 24-70mm f/2.8 or f/4 attached and additional lenses. The internal dimensions are 7.1” W x 12.6” H x 4.8” D (18 x 32 x 12.2 cm) with exterior dimensions of 8.3” W x 15.4” H x 5.2” D (21 x 39 x 13.2 cm). The small tablet compartment is 6.3” x 8.7” x 0.4” (16 x 22 x 1 cm) and the whole thing only weighs 1.0lb (0.4kg).
The Turnstyle has a wide, padded shoulder strap hanging to 35–68.3” (includes the length of bag), with an additional stability strap to keep things secure if you are travelling on a bike or are simply rushing about, which can be tucked out of the way when not needed. The sling bag design allows for easy rotation of the bag and quick, easy access to all your gear without needing to remove the bag from your person, including a dedicated padded pocket that fits an 8" tablet.
The Turnstyle feature a breathable 320G air-mesh back panel that is designed to help keep your back cooler when wearing the bag over long periods of times. This panel helps a little, and the small profile also helps to keep your back cool, but I still ended up with a wet patch on my lower back after a full day’s use (although it was a very warm day). There are two pockets - the main body for your camera gear and another pocket on the front with an organiser pocket for batteries, memory cards or other small accessories. It is a little difficult to access small items that slip into the corners of this pocket, as it is quite tight. Back inside the main compartment, there is a rear internal pocket for documents, fully customisable interior dividers and a seam-sealed rain cover included in its own dedicated section.
