Skullcandy have launched their new flagship earbuds which are designed with an adjustable 4-mic digital active noise cancelling design to ensure you have the best audio experience possible. I was super excited to get to try out these earbuds as they boast some giant specs whilst always championing top-quality sound first.

The Rail ANC buds come in a sleek black charging case, which holds the two black and clear earbuds. Through the clear parts of the earbuds, you can see some of the electronics inside, which adds a nice futuristic touch to their design. Turning them on was easy, and they very quickly could be connected to my phone via Bluetooth. The Rail ANC buds have multipoint paring, to allow you to keep the buds connected to two devices and easily switch the audio output between them. I was impressed that I could have them connected to both my laptop and phone, so when I received a call whilst using the buds to watch films on my laptop, they quickly shifted to my phone audio output so I could take the call.

The buds felt super comfortable and provided incredible noise cancellation, especially, when compared to most earbuds in this price range on the market. The ANC levels of the earbuds allow you to enjoy your music without disruption, as they have been ergonomically designed so the ear gels fit perfectly in your ears and cancel out surrounding noise. Then, to make sure the audio is top quality they have built-in 12mm drivers for great music clarity. I tried these out whilst sitting in a busy café and was impressed by how great they were at cutting out talking, the noise from the coffee machines and the general hustle and bustle. I think these would be great for commuting and allow you to create your own little personal bubble away from the noise - all thanks to Skullcandy’s ANC-focused design.
