As students head back to school or university, a great pair of earbuds that can be taken with them on the go is essential. I relied heavily on a good yet affordable pair of headphones when commuting to my classes. So, when I saw the Canyon True Wireless Stereo Headset, I was super excited. They’re affordable, they look great and come with a great carrying case for easy use on the go.

We got to test out the purple colourway of the Canyon Headphones, which came in a lovely lilac silicone carrying case with a usefully attached carabiner. Inside the carrying case, was the main charging case in white, and upon opening, the purple earbuds sat in the matching purple interior. I loved the colour of the case and earbuds, which were also a lovely lilac. However, should purple not be your preference, the headset also comes in a range of other colours including black, blue, green and white – something to suit everyone’s style.

The earbuds are designed to deliver great sound quality for every listening experience, even whilst on the go. To achieve this the earbuds are designed to pair quickly and reliably with your phone using Bluetooth and deliver up to 8 hours of playback time with each use. However, one of the benefits of the charging case is that once fully charged the case delivers up to 38 hours of battery life – perfect for taking with you on the go every day without worrying that they might run out of charge mid-commute!

Once you do need the charge the earbuds, you just pop them back in the charging case and connect to the included USB-C charging cable, I will say the charging cable included in the box is a little short making charging a little inconvenient. However, being such a universally used cable today, you likely already have a longer one available to use if the short cable isn’t suitable for your needs. Thankfully the charging case was fully charged in just a few hours and was ready to go all day long.

If you’re on the hunt for affordable and aesthetically pleasing earbuds, which have great sound quality and a usefully long battery life, then the Canyon Stereo Headset TWS are a great choice for you. These would make a great gift for students heading back to school or university this September ready for long study sessions or for listening to a great podcast on the way to campus.
