When heading off on holiday this summer, remembering to take the appropriate travel adapter can be a hassle – especially when, like me, you have a habit of forgetting to bring an adapter with you at all. Therefore, when I had the chance to test out the MyTravelPal Universal Adapter I was super excited. It is designed to be compatible in over 150 countries, removing the need for remembering specific adaptors, and instead offering a single adaptor solution that I could leave in my suitcase knowing it will work everywhere I go.

The Universal Travel Adapter is uniquely made with 4 side sliders which allow you to pop out the necessary components for use with different plugs. This means that when using a USA plug whilst travelling in America, you just slide the ‘USA’ slider to the front and the US charging prongs are revealed. However, if you were to then go to Europe or Australia, you can instead slide out the EU or CN pin plug types, and the same adapter will work here too. This is excellent as it removes the need for multiple different adapters which can take up valuable packing space when travelling to multiple countries over a short period. Plus, on the front of the adaptor where you would attach your devices or appliances, you can plug in almost any plug type which ensures that no matter where you are, the Universal Adapter should work for you.

One of my favourite aspects of the Universal Adapter is that the side has two USB-A slots and a USB-C slot, so you can plug your charger directly into the side of the plug. This means that you can charge 4 devices at once and without the need for both your typical charger plug, and then the adapter as well. Instead, you can just plug your cords directly into the adapter – saving space and time!

Plus to ensure that the adapter remains super safe, each plug connection has a ground/earth connection meaning you can use the adaptor with any high-powered appliance without any worries. Also, should any power surge occur when in use, the adaptor has been designed to automatically shut down and protect your devices and appliances.  

If you are heading off on a holiday this summer, then MyTravelPal is essential and will make charging your phone or using your appliances so much easier. I loved that with the Universal Adapter I don’t even need to think about what adaptor to take, instead it just stays in the suitcase and is ready no matter where I’m heading.
