Travelling abroad usually comes with the last-minute dash to the shops to buy the correct adapter for your devices ahead of a trip. For me, this is usually as I’ve lost my ones from the previous trip, so when I saw that STM Goods has a universal power adapter I jumped at the chance to test it out.

The Power Adapter by STM Goods is designed to fit UK, EU, AU and US plug sockets all within the single unit. The front of the adapter has 2 USB-C ports and a USB-A port. Each of the USB-C ports delivers a max output of 65 watts, with the USB-A port delivering a max of 30 watts output. These are suitable for powering most phones, tablets, and laptops, supported by fast charging. Therefore, the Power Adapter is perfect for taking with you whilst away to keep your devices fully charged and ready to capture all those precious summer memories.

The unique design of the STM Goods’ Power Adapter means that the adapter has the US plug type integrated into its design, and to transform it into an EU, UK or AU plug type you simply have to snap in the correct country plug type, which come with the unit. The different plug types snap super easily into the main block and lock using a little orange slider on the top. To unlock, you move the slider and can change the plug to a different one. This is perfect for if you are travelling to multiple countries in a single trip as you can change the adapter to suit every plug you use.

I personally loved this all-in-one design as it means I do not need to worry about buying multiple different adapters, and instead, I can use one single unit that is designed to be compatible with so many different countries in the world. This is perfect for me as I can leave the Power Adapter in my suitcase ready for my next adventure knowing it more than likely will be able to support my charging needs wherever I go.

My only slight downside of the Power Adapter is that it is only suitable for USB-C and USB-A connections, so if you need to take larger appliances such as hair straighteners or a hair dryer with you on holiday, you will still need additional adapters for this. However, I personally don’t need much more than a charger for my phone when I’m away, so for device charging the Power Adapter is a great choice.
