Feuerhand was founded way back in 1893 in Germany and have been making the iconic hurricane lanterns ever since, the Feuerhand hurricane lantern Baby Special 276 has been produced since 1989 as the only model. We received the galvanised storm lantern Baby Special 276 by Feuerhand in bronze, this lantern has an almost cult like status, even if your lantern never sees a flame it looks amazing and will make a great focal point in any house.
The 276 comes in fully recyclable packaging and has a refined construction that guarantees economical use of petroleum, this means that the Feuerhand burns with a full tank for about 20 hours. The Baby Special has a compact build and measures up at 15(W) x 26.5(H) x 13.5(D)cm, it is super light when empty weighing in at just 530g, each box comes with the hurricane lantern and one flat wick. The lantern is constructed from a galvanized material making it resistant to rust and durable in stormy conditions, the heat-resistant glass cylinder protects the flame from the wind and therefore giving it a constant, steady and quiet burn.
The tank has a volume of 340ml and comes in a huge range of different galvanised colours, Yellow green, Pastel Orange, Pastel Blue, Brilliant Blue, Light Green, Light Pink, Telemagenta, Sparkling Iron, Cobalt Blue, Olive, Signal Yellow, Moss Green, Ruby Red, Pure White, Deep Black, Matte Black, Anthracite Gray, Galvanized and Bronze.
