Nothing beats a hot drink in the morning as you make the usual commute to work - especially when it is so cold and dark outside! Every morning I grab my travel mug as I head out the door so I can enjoy a coffee on the way to work. However, my main problem with my current travel mug is that I can’t put it in my bag without it leaking coffee everywhere, which is not what I need just before work. So I was super pleased to get to test out the Octaroma Vacuum Insulated Mug from Wacaco, which is designed to be leakproof whilst keeping your drink perfectly hot down to the last drop.

We tested out the green 15-fluid-ounce cup, which is the largest size that Wacaco offer in the Octaroma mug. The mug is a great size which was perfect for my morning latte, and the green exterior looked super nice, with a secure fitting grey-transparent lid. The mug is vacuum-insulated with double-walled stainless steel which makes it ideal for keeping hot drinks warm, and cold drinks icy. In the winter months, this means I can take my coffee to work and it’s still hot when get there. However, the mug will still be perfect for the summer to make iced coffees or cool drinks for those warm sunshine-filled days. Plus, as someone who likes to carry my drink in my bag, I love the leakproof lid as it fits super securely. I didn’t notice any leakage whilst I was using it.

The engraving looks great and adds a nice little touch to your daily coffee cup.

Overall, as we battle through the winter months an insulated coffee mug is the perfect companion to take your coffee wherever you go for an enjoyable drinking experience down to the last sip.
