Halloween is such a fun time of the year for kids, where they get to dress up and go trick-or-treating. With the spooky season soon upon us, Blade & Rose have released their very own Halloween Collection, which features fun and adorable costume designs, whilst still having the same super soft and comfortable fabrics that the company are known for.

Across the Halloween Collection, Blade & Rose have a skeleton costume, some fun ‘Boo’ leggings and a pumpkin-themed jumper. However, the costume we got to review was the adorable Fluffy Spider Outfit.

The Fluffy Spider Outfit comes with three parts: the leggings, a long-sleeved top and a detachable cape. The leggings are super fun with a black and white striped colourway, with the black stripes actually being fluffy and a spider print on the bottom. They come in the usual super soft material that Blade & Rose are known for, with a wide elastic waistband for a snug and secure fit. The leggings are great for small children as they are durable yet soft and include extra stretch to fit around all types of nappies. This means that your child can go on all kinds of Halloween adventures, whilst still being comfortable.  

The top is super soft, made from 95% cotton and 5% elastane. It comes in all black and features an adorable spider print on the front, with giant green eyes. While it’s a long-sleeve top, it remains super breathable to keep your child cool and comfortable. The top even has contrasting poppers to make getting dressed easier, and a neckline that is designed to prevent irritation. These design aspects help to make the whole outfit more comfortable and functional to wear. 

The final adorable part of the outfit is the detachable cape that features a similar black and white stripey print as the leggings, with a bright green trim. The cape is super soft, made from the same material as the top, and adds an extra fun element to the costume, whilst helping to keep it comfortable and practical for wearing. We all remember wearing those plastic-feeling costumes as kids, so this makes a lovely change where comfort and wearability have been prioritised, whilst still keeping the design super cute and perfect for the spooky season.
