Epomaker has always been known for making innovative keyboards where style and functionality meet in a fun keyboard design. This has never been more evident than in the design of the new Epomaker Glyph, which features a fun retro typewriter design, backed by Epomaker’s modern keyboard technology.

Inside the box, the keyboard looks really impressive with its off-white design, featuring typewriter-style keys and an innovative digital display. The overall design gives a lovely nostalgic feel of a classic typewriter, whilst being fitted with modern cutting-edge technology that Epomaker keyboards are known for. I love the design, and with the beautiful backlights and digital displays, the overall look is super cool and adds a lovely retro yet futuristic touch to your desk set-up.

The keys of the Epomaker Glyph are one of my favourite aspects. Each key features a round design to mimic that of a traditional typewriter. Then under each key are 5-pin mechanical switches that offer a soft touch feel, whilst still offering a satisfying click. This is thanks to the 5-layer dampening gasket of the keyboard, which includes noise-absorbing foam, switch pads, sound enhancement pads, switch socket pads, and bottom silicone. These together offer a lovely feel to the keys, which makes typing for work or gaming feel comfortable and supported. Plus, the keyboard comes with an additional supportive wrist rest to make the overall typing experience even more comfortable and supported for long typing periods.

Adding to the already stylish appearance of the Epomaker Glyph are the RGB lights, which are under every key. The lights are vivid and offer a rainbow effect across the keyboard, which gives a lovely, colourful appearance to the keyboard.  This looks great in any office set-up, and especially in low lighting to give a colourful rainbow glow across your desk.

One of the innovative things about the keyboard is that it includes a return lever on the left-hand side, which is inspired by the manual levers of the left side of a classic typewriter to reset the page for a new line. This yet again adds another retro-inspired aspect to the keyboard, whilst remaining functional, allowing you to toggle up to enter, and press down to backspace. This added a lovely little touch to the keyboard, which is both retro-inspired and adds an extra functional aspect to the keyboard.

The other cool feature of the Epomaker Glyph keyboard is the TFT display, which shows the date along the top of the keyboard, alongside the main screen showing things such as the date, time, connection type, and compatibility. The screen adds a futuristic touch to the keyboard, which turns the keyboard into your desktop command centre. This then pairs with the rotary knob on the right-hand side of the keyboard, which offers unmatched control over the screen or things like volume on your device. Together, the screen and knob provide enhanced control over your workflow or gaming to turn the keyboard into a hub for productivity.

Like all of Epomaker’s keyboards, the keys are hot swappable and programmable to help provide a more personalised typing experience, and to remap the keys to your specific function needs. In terms of power, the keyboard features an 8000mAh Battery, which supports the keyboard for long hours of use without needing to recharge it. Plus, with tri-mode connectivity (2.4GHz, Bluetooth or wired), you can seamlessly connect the keyboard to your device.
