I love the summer, but one thing I can’t stand is being hot! However, my one saving grace is a hand fan that I can carry with me to keep a breeze going even when there isn’t one outside. Thus, I couldn’t wait to test out Aecooly’s version, which can even blow a cooling mist at you whilst it fans you – a brilliant idea that I couldn’t wait to try out!

The Aecooly Cold Air Portable Misting Fan takes the hand fan to the next level, featuring a tall cylinder design with a circular fan opening at the top. To turn it on, you just press the front power button and its spurs into action. Starting on the lowest fan setting, the fan delivers a lovely, gentle breeze. However, it features a total of 5 different fan speeds, all of which offer an instant cooling feel. The fan delivers great speed across its modes thanks to its 12000RPM three-phase motor, which delivers stronger airflow, supported by a 33ft/s high-velocity turbo wind that really helps push cool air towards you. Alongside this, the back of the fan features a honeycomb air intake, which helps reduce resistance and deliver stronger airflow.

However, one of the coolest things about the fan is that, alongside its high-powered fan speed, it also has a water tank at the base of the fan. When this is filled, the fan then has the option for a misting function. By pressing the water droplet button on the front, the fan will start spraying a fine water mist at you from the water tank. When full, the tanks offer 8 minutes of delightful cooling mist, perfect for helping you cool down quickly. Thankfully, even when the misting function runs out, you are still left with a super-powerful hand fan which can last for 20 hours on a single charge! This is perfect for keeping you cool on your commute, when hopping around the city, or even whilst lying by the pool.

My only note is that the fan is quite loud when on the highest speed setting. Whilst this isn’t too much of an issue for me, if you were wanting to use it in an office or somewhere that's a bit quieter, everyone around you will know you have a fan on – but when it's summer, I’m sure people will be jealous they don’t have their own!
