At £60 a pair I didn’t have high hopes for the KitSound Immerse Wireless Headphone (I’ve been let down so many times before by headphones in this price range), let’s look at what the Immerse offers.

With Active Noise Cancellation technology (up to 25dB) KitSound aims to makes it possible for you to listen to your music without external noises interfering, this is activated with a small switch on the left ear which makes your audio a little louder and sound fuller. The Immerse also features foldable and rotatable ear cups with lots of padding to fit comfortably over the ears and there’s a memory foam padding head band for added comfort.

The rechargeable Li-ion battery will give you 12hours continuous play for 3hours charge time, you can connect by either the 3.5mm aux-in cable or Bluetooth with a range of up to 10m, not massive but enough to dance around the room with. It all comes with a cheap and poorly made carry case which is about as useful as an inflatable dart board, you would be better off just chucking it out but let’s forget about that and focus on what counts- sound quality.

The 40mm drivers produce a clean, well balanced sound with clear mid and high tones and smooth, punchy base from low volumes which is consistent. The noise cancellation works well, it doesn’t completely down out whining children or nagging partners but it works enough to allow you to comfortably ignore them, great value for money just buy your own case for it.
