Adagio Teas simpliciTEA Starter Set
£26.00
Loose-leaf tea can sometimes seem a little intimidating, from knowing how long to brew to having the right tools to create the perfect cup. However, Adagio Tea’s simpliciTEA glass tea infuser makes the whole process a breeze with a simple filtration system to make brewing the perfect cup quick and easy to do.
The simpliciTEA Glass Tea Infuser is, as the name suggests, super simple to use. The glass jug has a 400ml capacity, and this is where you pour in your hot water and a scoop of your favourite loose-leaf tea. You then allow your tea to steep for your preferred length of time, depending on the type of tea or to your personal taste preference. Then, you just place the stainless-steel lid on the jug, which features a mesh rim designed to filter out the loose-leaf tea as your pout from the jug.
I love how simple yet effective the design is. The jug provides ample space to watch your tea steep and bloom and then pour it into your favourite cup for the perfect brew. My only note is that the 400ml allows you to get around two cups, but this will depend on your cup size (and I typically love a large mug for tea), so maybe keep this in mind if you’re sharing with a friend, because they might end up with a much smaller mug full!
The simplicity of the simpliciTEA infuser makes cleaning super easy, too. You just remove the filter lid and can place both the jug and the filter lid in the dishwasher. However, I like to give the filter a quick rinse under the tap to ensure all the loose-leaf tea is removed before I pop it in the dishwasher for a wash to ensure no leaves get stuck.
One of the great things about the simpliciTEA, or even their other ingenuiTEA infusers, is that you can purchase them in a starter set with a discovery pack of teas. The discovery set we got to test out includes 12 of Adagio Teas’ most popular varieties, including everything from early grey bravo to peach oolong, and honeybush banana nut.
All of the teas offer a lovely way to put your infuser to the test and allow you to try out some new and maybe familiar flavours with a great range of farm-fresh teas that ensure you’ll find one you like. This makes the perfect addition when purchasing the simpliciTEA infuser, as you get to make the most of its design, with 12 wonderful flavour options to test out.
Overall, I love how simple yet functional the simpliciTEA Infuser is. It provides everything you need to make a lovely pot of tea, which you can enjoy alone or share with friends or family. Then, with a lovely selection of teas, the starter set provides the perfect setup for any tea lover. The whole thing takes the stress out of loose-leaf tea brewing and means you can focus on enjoying every cup.
