BabyBjörn Baby Carrier Harmony (Grey Beige)
£208.90
The summer months mean more days out with the family, and when we’re all going to the zoo or the park, the last thing I want to be doing is manoeuvring my pram down narrow paths. Therefore, I’ve long been a big fan of babywearing to keep my little one close to me and make going out and about just that little bit more convenient. Therefore, I was excited to see BabyBjörn’s Baby Carrier Harmony which has been designed with next-level comfort and support, whilst also featuring a lovely 3D mesh design to keep cool on warm summer days.
The Baby Carrier we tested came in a lovely grey/beige colourway that looks minimalist and will go with just about any outfit you wear. The carrier features an innovative 3D mesh design across the carrier which helps to keep air flowing to cool you and your baby down even in the heat. The straps and waistband feel super soft and padded, whilst remaining wide enough to help distribute the weight of your baby evenly across your body and prevent excess strain on your shoulders or back.
I love just how supportive the whole carrier is, with the shoulder straps and waistband easily clicking into place behind. On the front, you can open the zips on the panel where your baby will sit, and carefully loop one side into place. You can then manoeuvre your baby into the carrier with their legs in the usual ‘m’ style position that supports their hip health. Then, you pull up the back panel and secure your baby into the carrier. I was glad to see plenty of adjustable straps and loops that help hold your baby in place and keep them secure, whilst also helping ensure you’re comfortable too. I love the additional support for your baby’s head on the front flap which can be adjusted with the poppers on the top of the carrier depending on their age and positioning. For this reason, the BabyBjörn Baby Carrier Harmony is super ideal for use all the way from the newborn stage up until your child is around 3 years old. As your baby grows, you just need to adjust the position of the waist belt to better hold your child and distribute their weight across your body.
One of the main benefits of the Baby Carrier Harmony is that you can use it to hold your baby in 4 different positions: newborn, facing forward, facing you, and on your back. These allow you to adjust your baby to the best position for their age, the day's activities and your own comfort levels. However, I will note that the facing outward position is only recommended for babies who are older than 6 months, and back position for babies over a year old. Throughout each of these positions, superior comfort and support are the main focus to keep you and your baby happy, secure and safe. I was glad to see that the BabyBjörn Baby Carrier Harmony has been acknowledged by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute as it supports the hip health of your baby. In fact, I was glad to see that all of BabyBjörn’s products have been made with medical experts' and paediatricians' advice in mind to ensure that their products and baby carriers are safe for your baby, whilst delivering great ergonomic support for you too.
Overall, BabyBjörn Baby Carrier Harmony is a lovely and premium feeling baby carrier that makes carrying your baby so much easier. From its super soft adjustable materials that are perfect for sensitive baby skin to its machine washability, it really has been designed with the fast-paced life of a parent in mind. This is a must-buy for parents, or parents-to-be, to be able to have a reliable, soft and summer-ready baby carrier that will keep you and your baby happy, supported and safe.
