We’ve all been there, carefully holding a charging cable in one position trying to make it connect and charge your phone. Sadly, many charging cables on the market don’t seem to be durable enough for long term use, and so after a few months they get weak spots and break. Therefore, I was excited to test out the Beats USB-C to USB-C Long Cable, which has been designed to be durable, reliable and effective in keeping your phone charged up without any stress. 

We got to test out the USB-C to USB-C Long Cable from Beats, which is designed to be an effortless, durable and reliable charging cable. One of the best things about the cable is that it's an impressive 3 metres long, which makes charging your device no matter where you are super easy. I love that I can plug in my phone and still use it whilst on the sofa without feeling tethered to the plug socket with a short charging cable. Just make sure you have a plug with a USB-C port because the cable is USB-C to USB-C!

I was glad to see that the cable has been made to be hard-wearing thanks to its woven design; this adds a lovely soft touch to the feel of the cable whilst keeping it super flexible for easy movement. However, the woven design also means that the cable doesn’t tangle, even with it being such a long length. Instead, it remains completely tangle-free and hard-wearing in order to keep it operating at its best for longer.

In terms of power, the cable supports fast charging of up to 240W, perfect for charging your devices up with speed and efficiency. However, to ensure it offers a regulated power transmission, the cable features an automatic voltage regulation, which adds a great bit of protection to your device when charging. Alongside charging, the cable can also be used for data transfer (up to 2.0 rates), and so the cable is multifunctional. Thus, the cable can be used for syncing, streaming and data transfer, as well as charging – and all for a single price!

If you’re on the lookout for a new charging cable, the Beats USB-C to USB-C Long Cable is a great option that is both multifunctional and a great length. Whilst it is a little on the pricier side for a single cable, its range of uses and durability of its means it should last you a long time!
