The white circular unit, which connects to a plug with a USB-C cable, attaches to an iPhone and other Qi2-compatible devices using the phone’s magnetic back connection. This magnetic connection allows the phone to charge up, whilst keeping the Charging Pad in place.

The charger delivers 15W of fast charging, making it perfect for keeping you charged up and ready to go all day long. I like that the Charging Pad also has a little stand that can be clicked out from the back. This means that you can use the Charging Pad as a stand whilst charging your phone too, adding yet another level of functionality to the device. This is perfect for streaming your favourite TV show or playing a game whilst you wait for your phone to charge up.

One of my favourite things about the Charging Pad is that it comes with a long 1.5-meter cable, so you don’t have to be sat super close to a plug socket to charge your device. Instead, you can comfortably plug into the Charging Pad to a plug and wall socket without having to worry about feeling completely tethered to the wall. I’ve used chargers before that are super short, which had me sitting uncomfortably on the floor trying to charge my phone; therefore, I love that the longer wire makes the use of the Charging Pad just that little bit more convenient.
