Straight out of the box, the ES Pro controller is super minimalist, with the colourway we tested coming in an all-white design with black buttons and joysticks. I like that the controller has a textured finish, which helps enhance your grip on the controller, which is especially helpful during more intense gaming sessions to keep the controller stable and secure in your hand. The overall look is super sleek and minimalist, and I think it would fit in with any gaming setup with ease. The controls are easy to use, with the power button, paring and settings buttons all located on the front. Alongside these are the typical ABXY action buttons, two joysticks, a directional pad, and then the shoulder bumper and triggers on the top of the controller.

Each button and joystick has been designed with precision in mind, and so the joysticks themselves are TMR joysticks designed for enhanced precision. The joysticks are an evolution of Hall Effect joysticks, and offer superior precision, anti-drift effects and long-lasting durability. Plus, with 4,000-level high precision accuracy and adjustable sensitivity, you can fully customise your joysticks to your needs, offering an ultra-smooth feel, yet reliable movement. Plus, the ES Pro also comes with the option to adjust your joysticks' dead zones to provide greater accuracy or even remove them altogether. I like that the controller gives you the option to adjust or remove this because it means you can create a customised feel that prevents drifting whilst still delivering the level of precision you need.

Then, on the back of the controller are 256-level hall effect triggers. These are designed to be durable whilst offering high precision, and so they are best suited for firing or throwing things in a game, or even for braking during a driving game. Each trigger feels super responsive and ensures that every press of the triggers is captured and delivered on with speed and accuracy, so you can focus on winning your game. On the front of the controller, the ABXY buttons are made from conductive rubber, which provides a great level of durability and prevents sticking or disconnection when pressed. Then, the tactile switch D-pad provides sensitive and accurate directional controls, allowing you to switch to 4-direction from 8-directions for a more precise operation, which is especially handy for first-person shooter games to change weapons with speed and accuracy.

One of the main draws for the ES Pro controller is that it has one of the fastest response times, with only a 3.24ms latency when used wirelessly with a 740Hz polling rate. This is super speedy compared to many on the market and so provides you with the tools to have fast reactions to keep you one step ahead of your competitors. However, when used with a wired connection, the ES Pro goes one step further and can actually achieve a 1.87ms latency with a 1000Hz polling rate. With such a high level of accuracy and low latency, it's no surprise that the controller is regarded as one of the fastest wireless controllers on the market, as it really does deliver on speed.  

Aside from its enhanced control responsiveness, the ES Pro Controller is also designed to deliver an immersive gaming experience and so offers an asymmetric rotary vibration motor. This delivers an impressive vibration across the controller, which can be adjusted through three vibration intensities to make every gaming experience feel immersive. However, the controller also comes with the option to turn the vibration off if this is your preference when gaming.
