The Intelligent Cooling Platform is designed to work with your existing Switch 2 dock, offering a small platform that it sits on to help improve airflow under the docking station, whilst adding greater stability to your docking station. However, arguably the most important part of the Intelligent Cooling Platform is the cooling fan; you just need to align the fan with your Switch 2’s rear vents, and then plug it in. Once turned on, the fan helps draw hot air away from your console’s rear vents to support the cooling process of the console’s inbuilt fan. You can turn up and down the fan using the small rotary knob on the side, which lets you adjust the precise speed of the fan from 1000-65000 RPM. The fan even has a front digital display which you can see over the top of your Switch 2, where you can monitor the fan and its overall cooling performance. The fan can help reduce console temperatures by up to 10-12°C, and dock temperatures by 2-4°C. Therefore, this offers a great level of cooling that is sure to keep your console working at an optimised temperature for longer gaming sessions.
