Charging your phone, earbuds and smartwatch at the end of each day can become a bit of a chore, with each device having a separate charger and needing its own plug socket. Personally, I find the whole thing a faff and wake up most mornings, realising I’ve forgotten to charge something and will have to spend the day searching for a plug socket! Therefore, I’ve always been a big fan of charging stations, which are designed specifically to charge all your devices in one single unit, cutting down on wires and plugs. Whilst these have usually been good, they often can be a little lacklustre when it comes to the charging speed, with three devices charging at once often slowing down charging speeds considerably. Therefore, I was excited to see that KUXIU have developed the X40 Turbo, a wireless charging station that has been specifically designed to support fast wireless charging.

The X40 Turbo has been designed with Apple’s devices in mind, and so is a Qi2.2 certified 25W wireless charging module that has plenty of space to fit your iPhone, AirPods and AppleWatch on the unit. When compacted down, the unit is remarkably small and can easily be put into your pocket or bag for charging on the go. However, once unfolded, the X40 Turbo provides enough space to hold your phone, earbuds and watch. The base provides space for your AirPods, whilst the middle panel has a fold-out Apple Watch holder. The final top panel is designed for your iPhone.

Each panel magnetises your device to the X40 Turbo thanks to its 16 N52 strong magnets, which provide a secure and reliable wireless charging connection. I love how sturdy the X40 Turbo feels, even with everything on it, and I think a key part of this is the premium aluminium alloy that the unit is made from. The aluminium not only makes it look super stylish, but it also gives the charger a lovely, durable finish, where every edge is smooth and refined for an overall premium design.

One of the things I was most glad to see with the X40 Turbo is that it comes with its own power adapter and cable. Often, devices now come with just a wire, and this means you’re connecting random adapters and cables for charging, which can hinder the connection. However, the X40 Turbo instead comes with the charging unit, the charging cable and even the plug adapter, providing an all-in-one unit that you know is compatible. Together, I’m sure these help the X40 Turbo deliver a reliable and fast charge for all of your devices simultaneously.

I was super impressed with the X40 Turbo; it charged my devices super quickly and looked great while it’s doing it. Plus, I love how compact it is, making it the perfect travel essential to throw in my bag to have a complete charging station ready for wherever I go, without needing to bring multiple plugs and chargers (and adapters) to charge just three devices! Instead, the complete unit (and maybe a single adapter if I’m abroad) is needed to keep my devices charged so I can focus on my adventures!
