KitchenAid Artisan Tilt-Head 4.7l Stand Mixer (Butter Colourway)
£699
From cakes to cookies, and even to bread, having a stand mixer to save yourself from standing for hours mixing or kneading is a vital tool for any budding baker. For me, a stand mixer has always been something I’ve wanted for my kitchen, and personally, the Iconic KitchenAid brand, known for being one of the best on the market, has always been top of my list. Therefore, I was delighted when I got the chance to review one – especially with the launch of the 4.7l Stand Mixer in the Colour of the Year 2025, Butter Yellow!
The new retro-inspired colourway highlights KitchenAid’s colour innovation within the culinary space since 1955. The colour has grown in popularity this year and so is now labelled the Colour of The Year for 2025. Therefore, you can now get your KitchenAid stand mixer in the lovely, warm, creamy, buttery colourway that is designed to energise whilst also bringing a sense of nostalgia to remind you of the fun and comfort of baking as a child. The new colour is beautiful; however should it not be to your preferences, KitchenAid’s stand mixers also come in a whole range of different colourways and finishes, so you can find the perfect one to fit into your aesthetic and kitchen design.
In the box, you get the lovely stand mixer, the main stainless steel bowl, a flex edge beater, dough hook, wire whisk, pastry beater and an extra 3L stainless-steel bowl. Each piece feels super durable and can easily be slotted into the stand mixer to get working on your next culinary creation. One of the main reasons I’ve always wanted a stand mixer is to be able to make my own bread and pizza dough without all the kneading, which seems to take such a long time and leave you with aching arms. I love that with the stand mixer, I can just pop in the dough hook and throw in all my ingredients, and it does all the work for me. Plus, it saves me lots of time, as the hook can produce a perfectly kneaded dough in under ten minutes, and without all my complaints that my arms hurt!
Once you’ve used the mixer, I love how easy it is to clean. The bowl and whisk can be popped out and put in the dishwasher. Plus, you can easily wipe down the base unit with a damp cloth if needed. The easy cleaning of the stand mixer makes it a brilliant asset to your kitchen, and with it being quick and easy to clean, it saves you from doing most of the work by hand. I already know that this will be a big asset to my kitchen, and I’ll be able to bring out the mixer and whip up a quick sweet treat for any last-minute visiting friends without breaking a sweat!
Plus, across the whole KitchenAid range, there are 15 other dishwasher-safe attachments, which means that you can enhance your mixer and use it for slicing, grating, mincing, chopping, peeling, juicing, and spiralizing – to name just a few! However, I will note that, each of these does need to be purchased separately. But, with such a plentiful range of attachments to choose from, it means that the KitchenAid Stand Mixer can do so much more in your kitchen and become your secret weapon for just about any cooking need!
A KitchenAid makes a great investment into your kitchen set up, and for a budding baker or cook there is no gift greater than a multi-functional KitchenAid stand mixer. As we look towards the summer months, treat yourself or a loved one to a KitchenAid, whether in the new Butter colourway or any from the range, to take your baked goods to the next level and save you time all year long.
