Small but mighty is the only way to describe the Mighty Fan from Lifemax, which delivered great cooling whilst remaining super quiet and compact. Desk fans can be cumbersome, and take up much-needed space, however, in the summer they’re essential to keeping us cool! My desk is quite compact which means I don’t have a lot of space for a larger fan, so I was glad to give the Mighty Fan from Lifemax a go as it is super small but boasts to provide amazing cooling power.

The Mighty Fan is no larger than 15cm in height so it is super compact compared to a traditional standing or desk fan. The fan features 90mm blades which are supported by a brushless motor to ensure an always quiet sound when in use. I was at first quite surprised by just how small the fan is, however, despite its size its fan power is anything but small. The fan features 3 speed levels, which can be adjusted on the front of the fan. These provide steady power, which provides great cooling for a desk or small room.

The fan is rechargeable and can hold up to 8 hours on a single charge. The rechargeability of the fan makes it ideal for desks or small bedrooms as you don’t have to worry about being near a plug socket or having wires extending across the room to keep it going. Instead, the fan is completely wireless so you can place it just about anywhere to get great cooling for a long period of time.

One of the main benefits of the fan is just how quiet it is. The fan, thanks to the brushless motor, is whisper quiet even when on full power. This makes it perfect for use when you’re trying to sleep, as you aren't kept awake by the whirring noise that you can get with some fans. I found it was so quiet I could have forgotten it was even on, if not for the nice cool breeze that kept me comfortable on particularly warm nights.  

If you’re looking for a compact fan, whether for your desk or your room, the Mighty Fan is a good choice for its power, silent operation and affordability. I especially think this would be great for students who are living in halls or student accommodation where space is limited but are in need of a powerful fan to keep them cool whilst they finish their assignments.
