Loop Dream

No one wants to get up exhausted normally, how about whilst away on holiday where you’ll spend the day exploring. For this reason, I’m always packing earplugs in my luggage. However, traditional earplugs don’t seem to do the job, often they're too big, fall out in the middle of the night or are uncomfortable meaning I can't sleep on my side. All of this contributes to my lack of sleep, so I’ve been on the hunt for a different earplug option that can become a staple in my life both whilst away and at home.  This is where the new Loop Dream come in, an innovative style of earplug that has been designed to help you get a restful night's sleep with every use.

The Loop Dream earplugs have taken everything you love about the Loop Quiet and made them specifically designed for sleep with an innovative ear tip shape and extra soft silicone body for an even better fit, enhanced comfort, and more reliable noise cancellation. I’ve been a big fan of my Loop earplugs since I first started using them a few months ago, and the Quiet 2 earplugs have been my go-to for naps since I got them. However, they can be a little uncomfortable to wear all night, even with their soft silicone design. So when I heard about the Loop Dream I was super excited. The Loop Dream are made from a super soft silicone that doesn’t put pressure on your ears. The soft body design is paired with moulded earbuds that are oval-shaped for an even better fit in your ears and super comfortable wear that has been designed with side sleepers in mind.

As a side sleeper, the Quiet 2 can be a little uncomfortable when lying on my side, however, the Dream earplugs are..well..a dream! The soft silicone means they fit snugly in your ears, and when sleeping on your side they are barely even noticeable. Plus, to get the best fit possible they come with 4 pairs of ear tips so you can get the size that fits the most securely, without them becoming uncomfortable for a great night’s sleep.

In terms of noise reduction, the Dream earplugs offer 27 decibels of noise reduction which turns snoring, outside traffic or a particularly loud neighbour into no more than a muffle. With 27 decibels of noise reduction, I found that usual traffic or my partner’s snoring didn’t wake me up as much, and instead softened the noise to help me get back to sleep easier. However, if you are particularly sensitive to noise disrupting your sleep, they do not block everything out so may not be ideal if you need complete noise cancellation. For my needs, the Dream earplugs were great, they took the edge off outside noise but ensured I could still hear my alarm when it went off in the morning.

For their noise reduction and comfort, the Loop Dream will be a staple of my nightstand and will be packed into my suitcase on every trip I take this summer. With enough noise cancellation to block out nighttime noises, the Dream are a perfect pairing for travelling this summer to help you feel refreshed and ready to spend the day sipping cocktails! If you struggle sleeping due to noises waking you up or want a new pair of earplugs that deliver unmatched comfort for hotel rooms or flights, then the Loop Dream are a super easy choice.

Pros:

  • Great for side sleepers with an enhanced oval shape and super soft silicone design for comfortable wear all night
  • Comes with a handy nonslip travel case that makes them easy to grab on your nightstand
  • Reusable earplugs that are more sustainable than single-use and are easy to clean

Cons:

  • The price of the earplugs may be a little inaccessible for some – especially if you won’t get a lot of use out of them for sleep
  • Not ideal for those who are super sensitive to sound disturbing their sleep as they do not block out all noise
