On a long car journey, you need a great phone mount, whether to hold your phone for directions or for easy voice control of your music. Therefore, I was very excited to try out the MAGMOUNT which uses your phone’s MagSafe magnetic connection to attach your phone securely onto your phone mount so you can be on your way in seconds knowing everything will stay just where you need it.

I tested out the MAGMOUNT when driving a few hours to visit some friends. I attached my phone to the MAGMOUNT before I set off and it worked perfectly – my phone stayed in place and charged away whilst I drove. I loved the wireless charging aspect of the MAGMOUNT - it seems so obvious now that when many of us are using a car mount for our phones it is to get directions, so this would be the worst time for your phone to run out of charge. Therefore, having wireless charging built-in is such a useful aspect of the MAGMOUNT, especially as it supports fast charging to keep you powered up throughout your drive and for the rest of the day. 

However, one of my favourite aspects of the MAGMOUNT is the built-in ring light which allows you to easily find your phone mount in the dark. This has been especially great on dark mornings when I’m usually fumbling about for 5 minutes trying to connect my phone to the phone mount and any charging cables. Instead, with the MAGMOUNT, you simply snap your phone on and can go. The MAGMOUNT also comes equipped with a USB-C to USB-C charging cable that is a great length for charging the MAGMOUNT without it getting in the way.
