Tracklements started in 1970 with the development of the first British wholegrain mustard, and from this legacy, the company have matured, developing over 7 varieties and 50 award-winning chutneys, relishes and sauces to bring homegrown flavours to meals every day. The special Father's Day edition includes all the favourites, with a British Beer Mustard, a Fresh Chilli Jam, a Strong Horseradish Cream, Particularly British Piccalilli, and everyone’s favourite Proper Tomato Ketchup.  

Each chutney, relish and sauce are packaged in Tracklements clear jars with black lids. I love the branded logos on the front, they give a rustic, home-grown farm shop kind of vibe that makes you know you’re getting the best of the best home-grown ingredients in every single one. One of the stand-out sauce options was the Proper Tomato Ketchup because everyone likes ketchup! The sauce has a punchier flavour than your typical big-name brands, made with Mediterranean tomatoes and a subtle spice blend for a unique but delicious taste. The only complaint is that as the bottle only holds 290g, we went through the sauce pretty fast as avid sauce lovers! However, the smaller size gives a luxury feel to the sauce and is the perfect pairing for a bacon bap or burger, or as a delightful dip for your favourite fried beige foods.

The Fresh Chilli Jam and Strong Horseradish Cream give a powerful fiery kick. The chilli jam is absolutely perfect as a dip, but I found that putting it in some marinades or dressings added an addictive spicy yet sweet taste to every dish. Made from fresh chillies, it's brilliant for taking a dish to the next level – especially if you like a little spicy kick! Then, the horseradish balances the fire with a lovely creamy base, giving a balanced and delicious accompaniment to a roast beef dinner. I love a bit of horseradish with a slice of roast beef on a Sunday, and the Tracklements Strong Horseradish cream will now be a table staple for this.

Finally, for charcuterie boards or taking your sandwich to the next level, the British Beer Mustard and Particularly British Piccalilli are big winners. The piccalilli is delectably tangy, and a little with cheese is a match made in heaven. Then, the British Beer Mustard has a unique and punchy flavour made with malty Wiltshire beer. This would be excellent with a nice sharp cheddar in a sandwich, or even for adding to a marinate for pork or beef for flavoursome taste every time.

Each product in the Tracklements range is handmade in the heart of Wiltshire, using traditional recipes with the best quality ingredients underpinning every product. I love that the ingredient listed on each one is super small, so each condiment isn’t full of tons of preservatives, and all of the ingredients are sourced locally wherever possible. This ensures that Tracklements can focus on delivering the best of British produce to deliver chutneys, relishes, and sauces that taste great.
