Turtle Beach makes headphones that ensure comfortability, a great sound quality, and are made to last. For this reason, I’ve been a big fan of Turtle Beach’s products for a long time, and so I was super excited to get to test out their Stealth 600 Gen 2 Headphones.

Straight out of the box, I was impressed with the overall aesthetics of the headphones which are in a sleek and minimalist green and black colourway. The majority of the headphones are in a nice black casing, with just a thin green line around the ear cushions, and a green Turtle Beach logo on each ear cup. The headband feels sturdy but can be adjusted to your head size and the ear cushions are lovely and soft on the sides of my head and ears.

I was impressed particularly with the fit of the headphones as I wear glasses, and so often wearing headphones can be a little uncomfortable as they press my glasses frame into the sides of my head. However, this model is specifically designed to be glasses-friendly and so has a little extra room for your glasses which was a big win for me. Plus, the soft ear cups are made of a mesh material, which is my preference compared to leather-effect ear cushions. I found non-mesh material often rips and wears away easier when pressed against glasses for long periods of time, so often it gets destroyed quickly when they’re sat on my glasses every day. Therefore, I was glad to see they were made with mesh ear cushions for a breathable yet comfortable fit -perfect for daily gaming sessions.

In terms of sound, the Steal 600 Gen 2 delivers a great all-around gaming experience where you can hear even the quietest of sounds during stealthy gaming missions, as well as clear voices during game calls. The sound is supported by the built-in microphone that sits snugly to the side of the ear cup. I liked that when I wasn’t on a call, I could easily flip it up to keep it out of the way, and then when I wanted to jump on a call to game with some friends, I just slid it down – no plugging an additional microphone in!
