Therefore, we are thrilled to put the new Exagrind Pro-E to the test, which offers customised, fine-tuned coffee grinding to help you achieve the perfect brew in every cup.

The Exagrind Pro-E builds upon the previous Exagrind model, offering enhanced manual grinding of coffee beans to deliver the perfect grind size for your coffee needs. The new Exagrind Pro-E comes with a super-sleek all-black exterior, with the grind-setting wheel and grinding handle in a lovely silver. The overall feel reminds me of many of the Wacaco products we’ve tested over the years: premium, stylish, yet compact.

However, unlike the previous model, which offered a 60-microclick range and a 33-micro adjustment between each click, the Exagrind Pro E now offers 69 clicks per turn with a 14.5-micron adjustment between each one. This significantly steps up the precision in your coffee grinding, offering you even more control over your precise grind size for a more personalised flavour in your resulting coffee.  

To achieve your perfect grind size, you just remove the handle and adjust the grind setting using the easy rotating adjustment wheel. By rotating the wheel clockwise, you can achieve a finer grind, and so by turning it counterclockwise, you can produce a coarser grind texture. You then fill the chamber with your coffee beans. The max capacity for the Exagrind Pro-E is 24 grams, so it is perfect for a whole range of coffee types. Then, reattach the magnetic lid and handle and rotate it clockwise until all the beans are ground up. Finally, unscrew the container at the bottom, which contains your perfectly ground coffee that is ready to use to create a delicious cup of coffee.
