The Epic Earbuds from JLab provide you with ten hours of wireless sound. The battery life will get you through a weeks’ worth of work-outs before it needs recharging, and the secure fit will hold fast during a run or the gym.

The Epic features JLab's proprietary Memory Wire over-ear hooks, cable mini-clips and six gel tip sizes that all combine so you can find a precise fit. The Memory Wire comfortably shapes around the ear and helps keep the earbuds secure whilst you are active. The mini cable management clips can be used to secure any loose wire away from your neck - if you are anything like me, the tiniest thing can become the biggest irritation whilst on a long run or a particularly hard session at the gym, and the last thing you need is wire rubbing against your sweaty neck.

The Epic uses C3 (Crystal Clear Clarity) technology and 8mm drivers deliver a satisfying sound quality. The base is a little on the light side, but the mid and high tones are good enough to get you through a workout. Weighing in at only 15 grams, the EPIC Bluetooth Earbuds are comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and the 45-degree cord-to-earbud angle ergonomically fits ears. The Epic connects via Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX Technology with a range of 30ft (9.1m). We found the connectivity a bit hit and miss - it would start to cut out at 5-6ft and couldn’t handle me walking out of the room very well at all.

However, the main purpose of these earbuds is to stick by you through a workout; they are 100% splash-proof, sweat-proof and washable with an IPX4 rating. The Epic also feature a universal mic and track control, allowing you to make phone calls, turn the volume up and down or activate SIRI. There is a neoprene, Eco-leather smartphone case, 3.25"W x 6"H x 0.75"D, that can be converted to a belt clip for easy phone access while you're using the Epic Earbuds.

The Earbuds aren’t going to blow your mind, but they are durable and will make a good gym buddy. However, for this price range, there are better earbuds available. RRP $79.99
