The MW07 from Master and Dynamic come in seven stand-out designs: Tortoiseshell, Steel Blue Matte, Grey Terrazzo, Matte Black, White Marble, Piano Black and Pink Coral, all models are handcrafted with acetate, giving a glossy and durable finish whilst keeping the weight down to just 9g per earbud. The ear buds have a D-shaped outer casing and come with a range of ear tips for a precise fit, including the silicone Fit-Wings in two detachable sizes, which help to hold the earbuds in place whilst moving around more vigorously, running for example. They also come with a super shiny charging case, constructed from stainless steel, this compact and portable case not only protects your earbuds but also provides you with three additional charges, this case could do with a case of its own as that smooth finish easily becomes scratched, I think it adds character but others may not.

The battery life is rather average at 3.5 hours and up to 14 hours in total when using the charging cases; thankfully they only take 1.5 hours to recharge and the charging case takes even less, at just 40 minutes. The innovative antenna technology and optical sensors detect in-ear placement to automatically play and pause the earphones when they are placed or removed from the ear, the quick pairing technology and 20 metre range of Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity make for seamless wireless listening. The two custom 10mm high-performance Beryllium drivers deliver excellent sound with layered mid-tones, punchy bass and bright treble, although the sound can get a little harsh at the top of its volume range. The MW07 have an IPX4 splashproof rating, a built-in MEMS, and omni-directional microphone for hands-free calls, the multifunctional button sits on the edge of the earbud which means you don’t have to press into the ear to activate them whilst the silicone ear tips create a tight seal for good noise cancellation. The MW07 are great little ear buds despite the mediocre battery life, they have a quick and strong connection, enjoyable sound quality and are comfortable enough to wear all day. RRP £279
