The Nivå from Sudio are truly wireless headphones that come in four attractive styles, Black, White, Pastel Pink and Pastel Blue that are all packed into a premium minimalist body, they connect via Bluetooth 4.2 which gives you the standard 10m range. One full charge will give you 3.5hour battery life, if this doesn’t sound enough for some serious audio addicts fear not as the charging case will top up the battery a further four times giving you a total of 17.5 hours before you need to find a plug socket, there are battery level indicators on both the earbuds and charging case to ensure you never get caught short. The charging case, although useful, has a lower quality feel than they earbuds themselves, maybe this is a clever decoy to hide the true value like putting Prada in a Primark bag, it is bulky, the lid is flimsy and doesn’t feel secure and there is an odd bit of stringy material that hangs out of the case that adds nothing to the aesthetics or function and looks like the idea of the work experience kid.

Moving on, the little earbuds are compact, tactile with a contemporary design and super comfortable, they come with a choice of ear tips to find the perfect fit and ensures you get the best performance out of the noise cancellation, which works faithfully. The 6.2mm drivers create clear and immersive tones with minimal compression that could lead you to believe they are wired, the bass is lovely and rich, the mid-tones and treble stand their ground with a clear and layered quality, the only things we could pick at is that the max volume probably won’t blow you away and there is a little distortion when turned all the way up to the loudest setting. All things considered we were impressed by the Nivå, they provide powerful and enjoyable audio, the charging case extends the battery life, they sit snuggly and discretely in the ear. RRP £99
