TiGr was born via a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2011 when Bob, John, and Jim Loughlin set out to create a bicycle lock that is light, straightforward to use, easy to store and provides good security, while also looking great. All TiGr locks are very secure and have been certified to meet rigorous European bicycle security standards, the TiGr Mini Plus can be used to secure to the frame and wheel to a bike rack, however it is important to point out that this will offer medium security protection, this means its suitable in most situations but you probably would only use it as a secondary lock if you were leaving your Raleigh in the dodgy part of town.

The Mini Plus is made from a tough titanium which means it is super light and weighs just 1lb and measures up at 11.5 x 8 x 4 inches, it will fit any bike and comes with a mounting clip that can be attached to the inside of the frame, under the seat, its slim design means it doesn’t detract from the over all beauty of your two wheeled beauty. There is a clear PVC coating to prevent the lock from scratching the paint work, the locking mechanism is easy to use, the two ends of the lock pop into the cap and is automatically locked without the need of the key, then simply use the key to unlock the cap and remove it take off the lock. The TiGr Mini Plus isn’t the most beautiful of things, it could have a cleaner finish, as even with the PVC coating some of those edges look a little rough but it is minimalist, simple and most importantly lightweight, a good choice for medium security or as a secondary lock.
