The Boogie Board Jot 8.5 aims to create the most natural pen on paper writing experience of any eWriter in the world. It is very light, much lighter and thinner than my normal notepad which slides its way down the fridge, at a feather light 0.3 pounds and 0.6 inches thin, there are two built in magnets on the back that can hold it in place on metal surfaces and it comes with a replaceable coin-cell battery that lasts up to 50,000 erases.

The first of its kind to do so which allows you to charge both from one cable. This is a high end product and it is built as such, the solid and heavy aluminium base has a non-slip rubber bottom and the shiny solid cast arm with a chrome finish looks streamline and modern, it is also pretty compact at 4.3 x 5.28 x 3.47 so you won’t have to dedicate a lot of space for it.

The Merge VR Goggles are a bright purple VR headset made out of squidgy foam that is compatible with nearly any iOS and Android device released in the last two years. I love the look of these, they are colourful and while the chunky block edges look great they more importantly form a massive protective case for your phone whilst it’s in there, you can throw it in your bag or let the kids pull it about without too much worry. There are holes in all the right places so you can still access charging ports and volume keys for example.

This mini quad is ultra-cute at 110mm x 95mm x 35mm it is small enough to zip about the house and as these little quads go this one is nicely put together. All too often these little machines are cheaply made with nasty flimsy plastic but this quad feels stronger than your average quad. I love it’s look with a nice blue under carriage and front propellers and some cheeky racing stripes on top, it’s the kind of quality I have come to expect from Revell.

My mum is a prime example for someone in their senior years who just refuses to get a smartphone because she is worried she won’t be able to use it properly. The Unite Phone Clip+ is a little gizmo that streams phone calls and audio straight to a ReSound hearing aid. You need to download the ReSound Control app onto your phone (compatible with iOS and Android), from which you are then able to control the volume of one or two hearing aids separately, creating the perfect level of volume for your needs.

Cats are notoriously greedy and one of mine has some ninja quality skills when it comes to stealing his brother’s food. Most of the time it isn’t too much of an issue, however there have been occasions where one of them has had medication in his food and I have had to sit and monitor their feeding.
