The iHealth View is a compact blood pressure monitor that allows you to take readings from your wrist, providing information about your blood pressure, heart rate and any potential arrhythmias.
The View has a 44mm X 26mm screen that uses a gauge to make sure you have the device in the correct position for an accurate reading, results are then displayed on the screen and stored for up to 120 results. The View can be linked to your smart phone via the MyVitals App and readings can be saved onto the secure iHealth Cloud, you can then use this to track trends over time and share results with your doctor; the results are displayed in easy to ready colourful graphs.
As we have seen with the other two iHealth products, the app is unreliable in its connectivity and syncing abilities and gets frustrating to use, thankfully the View can be used without the app and will provide you with accurate results. The monitor is simple to use, all you need to do is make sure you are seated upright and use the included protective carry case to prop your arm up at a right angle and keep your wrist at heart level (there is a little dot that shows on display which indicates when in position). The device takes about an hour to fully charge off a USB cable and this was giving us about 10-12 readings (depending how often we were taking them).
Overall, ehe iHealth View is an easy to use and accurate product but the software needs some work, a longer battery life would also be appreciated. RRP $99.99
