With our ever-unpredictable weather, you never quite know how long you will be able to enjoy your garden before an inevitable summer shower. The Garden Igloo 360 might well be the answer to this irritating issue. The Garden Igloo is fully weatherproof, rust resistant and can be left in your garden all year round. The Igloo easy to assemble and comes with clear instructions. The manufacturers claim that it only takes two hours to set up, without the need of any tools or screws; it took us just shy of three hours, but this was down to poor team work and multiple coffee breaks!

The Garden Igloo has a diameter of 360 cm and a height of 220 cm at its highest point. There are two zip-up screened vents for optimal airflow, and the domed shape of the igloo allows sunlight to transmit at right-angles throughout the day for all four seasons. The heat inside is distributed evenly at all points to help keep things comfortable, although on colder nights you can get a build-up of condensation that occasionally drips down the sides. The geodesic form provides the most robust design possible, able to withstand strong winds up to 62 km/h or lying snow conditions, with a max weight of 40 kg. It also looks like you have a mini version of the Eden Project in your garden!

The Garden Igloo is a sturdy, versatile structure that has enough room to fit a hot tub or garden furniture; it can be used as a summer house, green house or play house for the kids. There is are two optional accessories - a canopy cover or mosquito net - but at nearly £300 each they are accessories most will probably choose to live without. The Igloo itself is just shy of £800, which is steep for what is essentially a plastic tent. However, the Garden Igloo is durable, well designed and I love the overall look of it sat out in the garden. Anything that allows me to enjoy more time outside in bad weather gets the thumbs up from me! RRP €749.00
