The iM2875 Peli Storm Case has been designed to protect delicate and expensive equipment in transit. Not only is it waterproof the iM2875 is also dustproof, crushproof and if used with the foam inserts your precious gear couldn’t be in safer hands!

In addition to being watertight and dustproof it's also extremely tough. The external dimensions measure up as 632mm (L) x 602mm (W) x 333mm (D), with the total internal dimensions of 571mm (L) x 536mm (W) x 289mm (D) and a lid dimension of 571mm (L) x 536mm (W) x 51mm (D). Constructed from a lightweight HPX resin the case is both durable and extremely lightweight, weighing in at only 9.12kg when empty and 11.16kg with the foam padding. The telescopic retractable handle is more ridged than some of the other Peli cases we have tested, which have been more bendy; it also retracts a lot smoother than the other case.

There are six press-and-pull latches that secure the case: they are tough but easy to open, meaning you can quickly access your gear, but in the event of the case taking a bashing the latches won’t pop open. The use of the Vortex valve equalises the air pressure inside the case and prevents a vacuum forming when opening the case, which could potentially disrupt the contents, and the Rubber ‘O-ring’ seal prevents dust, dirt or water getting into the case. The three rubber over-moulded handles allow you to comfortably carry the case and grab it off luggage racks and conveyor belts and the tough little wheels make for a smooth travelling experience. However, if the wheels were slightly bigger, it would help with getting over lumps and bumps and off curbs. The ATA 300 security padlock hasps add an extra element of security, whilst the pick ‘n’ pluck foam sets allow you to create a personalised insert protection to suit your needs. RRP £296.06
