Starting off with the A360 this is a wrist-based heart rate monitor that keeps you in the right heart rate zone whether you are circuit training, cycling, jogging or even walking, as well as the heart monitor the A360 also tracks your steps, calories, training and sleep patterns and the Activity Guides give you feedback. You can link the A360 to your phone so it will vibrate on your wrist when you get a message or phone call or to remind you of an important date in your calendar. The look and feel of the Polar A360 is decent, the 13.5mm thick strap has a proper metal watch strap style clasp so you won’t accidently pull it off, not without losing your hand in the process anyway, its available in 5 coloured interchangeable straps so you can mix and match to suit your style. The glass screen gives you a large display without being too chunky on your arm and has nice colourful graphics for different notifications. Although it is waterproof up to 30m this is more so you don’t have to take if off when you are in the shower rather than using it whilst swimming as the water can throw off the accuracy of the heart rate monitor. The A360 uses your heart rate to accurately determine your calories burnt, along with your age, sex, height and weight so you get a more accurate overview of your fitness goals rather than a pedometer style activity counter. This is a serious activity tracker that has all the standard features and more all packaged into an attractive piece of wrist wear.
