When you shop for a pair of running shoes chances are you will look for support and comfort, something that will be shock absorbing, aids motion and often have words like “natural” featured somewhere in their description, although this is a common approach to running it is not the only way. Barefoot running is essentially the complete opposite to the cushioned, springy running shoes you may be used to, but it doesn’t mean you have to expose your bare skin to the broken glass and sharp stones whilst running around your local park.
As many of you will already know a tiny new human will result in an entire house worth of new products to help them to stay alive, one of those essential space invaders is the car seat, it will basically live in your car for years providing you with the perfect excuse to avoid being the designated driver. This all goes to pot however when your child needs to travel in a different car, carpooling, taxis, babysitters and travelling on holiday all seems like a good idea until you realise, they don’t supply car seats.
This attractive Hybrid Jacket comes in Black or Black with brown detailing (the best-looking version in our opinion) this lightweight jacket will help to keep you warm and dry thanks to the tough, water resistant woven panels you will be hard pushed to find an excuse not to get out in bad weather. with stretchy fabrics to give you protection and comfort while you train.
The Speed Stride shorts come in two colours Black or Black, my two favourite colours, but one version has a turquoise lining in the pockets, the fit is close to the skin but not tight or restricting, constructed from a lightweight woven fabric that delivers both comfort and durability. The internal mesh brief liner helps moisture escape the shorts and adds ventilation for when you are working hard.
The UA Vanish Seamless ¾ Sleeve is a rather unique piece, the mid-length sleeves give you a little bit of warmth without getting in the way, it is available in Blue, Red or Gray, we like the red best as it stands out from the crowd. This top features levels of mesh mapped to your body, for vast amounts of ventilation where you need it the most, it also has fewer seams to prevent the skin from becoming irritated during vigorous activities.
This short sleeve workout top comes in four colours Grey, White, Purple and Pink, it looks simple in the front but rather unique at the back due to the cutout construction with ribbed and mesh details, you will certainly get some mad tan lines if you wear this out in the sun. The cut out panel provides a good amount of ventilation in the back all while the rest of the material wicks away sweat, dries quickly and doesn’t cling to your skin when you get a sweat on.
These fitted leggings feature UA’s Next-to-skin without the squeeze design that hug your skin but allow complete freedom of movement for all those horrible things like lunges, tuck jumps and burpees. These leggings are missing a draw string which would help prevent the threat of a builder’s bum during movements like mountain climbers, however there is an envelope back storage pocket designed into the waistband to store valuables that are easily accessible during the workout, no zips no poppers but secure.
This bra comes in either Black or Purple, the latter colour seems a popular choice in the latest Vanish range, I am not a massive fan of the pastel purple (it could be worse, it could be pink) but the Black will suit me just fine. This bra has been designed for Low impact sports and it certainly means it, I decided to take a quick run on the treadmill after some weight training and bounced around rather uncomfortably.
When it comes to our cars we are often guilty of forgetting regular maintenance until the car reminds us, filling up the windscreen washer or checking your tyre pressure, the first time you realise the washer is out is when it doesn’t spray your screen, whereas the first time you realise your tyre pressure is low could be when you suffer a blowout.
