I personally hate ironing, as it takes too much time and you need the space for an iron and ironing board – something I don’t have in my small flat. For this reason, I have found steamers are the best for me being both compact, small and quick to use. One of my favourite aspects of the steamer is that it has been designed for a whole range of materials, so it can carefully steam anything from delicate silks to more rugged carpets and sofas. It achieves this through the ceramic-coated steam plate, which is designed to seamlessly glide over fabrics to remove all creases whilst delivering heat to kill 99.99% of bacteria and remove odours in the process. I personally love that it can be used across so many fabrics, and with the detachable fabric brush and the jet steam mode, you can really get into the fibres of the sofa or the carpet for an extra fresh clean.

For clothes, the Swan ProSteam is super-fast, and it only took me a few minutes to remove all creases from my clothes whilst on a weekend away. The speed with which you can remove creases, without the need for an iron and ironing board is perfect for my needs, and left all my clothes looking as good as new even after being folded in my suitcase.
