I was excited to get to test out the TCP Smart WiFi Glass Panel Heater that can be fully controlled from your phone, so you don’t even have to move a muscle to turn the heating on.

Electric heaters are often a more efficient and affordable option to quickly heat a single room, rather than the whole house. Therefore, with electric heaters being increasingly popular in the winter months, I was glad to see TCP have developed the Smart WiFi Glass Panel Heater, which optimises heat output, whilst being programmed completely wirelessly to give you even greater control over your home heating needs, all from the comfort of your sofa.

The Smart WiFi Glass Panel Heater looks super sleek in a white gloss effect unit, which can be both mounted on the wall using the included wall bracket or completely freestanding. This means that you can easily move the heater around to heat your desired room or fix it in place for more consistent temperature control. In the top corner of the Smart WiFi Glass Panel Heater is a small digital display that shows things such as the temperature and time at a glance, as well as having a plethora of touch controls below it to set and adjust the heater to your specific needs. However, one of the main benefits of the TCP Smart WiFi Glass Panel Heater is that it can be connected to your phone via the TCP Smart App, where you can turn on the heater, set schedules and times, and change the power setting (low at 15000W and high at 2000W) to get the perfect heating settings for your home.

I was glad to see that the heater can be programmed so it will turn on and heat your home on a set schedule. This is perfect for busy people who want to come home to a warm house and not face those frosty minutes waiting by the radiator until the household heating kicks in. Instead, with the fully electronic thermostat control, you can ensure your home is always the perfect temperature, without having to put the central heating on. Additionally, you can save money by only heating the rooms you really need instead of the whole house, and efficiently reduce the heater use to set times so there are no big surprises on your energy bills.
