We all know chocolate melts when it gets warm, sort of like how we all know salt dissolves in liquid, so imagine my surprise when I was handed some shot “glasses” to review that were made from salt! However, I was happy to test these out just for the excuse to drink tequila in the name of research (it’s a hard job at times...)

For the last few weeks, I have been dazzling friends with the Kymera Magic Wand, a very cool gadget from The Wand Company. The Wand is designed to be used as a universal remote, where with a flick of the wrist and an ‘Expelliarmus’ you can turn devices on and off, their volume up and down and change channels. Aimed at a very specific market, the wand is a suitable replacement for the basic remote control, and if you’re a fan of the Harry Potter Universe like me the novelty does not wear off.
