Star Wars is back! That means for the foreseeable future we will be able to buy everything from pyjamas to toilet paper with BB8 plastered over it, good times. One of the more obvious merchandise areas is toys and that brings me on to the Revell Star Wars Build & Play Episode VII, specifically the Millennium Falcon. Aimed at ages 6 and up it comes with 19 separate parts that simply snap together, no glue or paint required, to create a 1:164 replica of the Millennium Falcon. The attention to detail is brilliant for example they have included the new rectangular sensor dish after the starship's circular sensor dish was knocked off as Lando Calrissian piloted it through the Death Star II's interior as well as a retractable undercarriage and moveable gun ports. However, this is not just a model kit, once it is assembled you can pop in the 3 LR44 batteries that are included and the Millennium Falcon will make sound effects straight out of the movie and produce a lovely blue glowing light. The button is integrated in to the design of the ship so as not to spoil the appearance and adds to the charm of the wonderful toy suitable for any aged Star Wars fan. RRP £16.99
