This little bundle provides you with both the AirRam 2 and Multi Handheld vacuum, starting with the upright Gtech, which claims to be their best cordless upright vacuum cleaner. Designed to glide effortlessly from carpets to hard-floors without the need to change the settings without tethering you to the wall, simply grab the AirRam and go. This upright vacuum weighs just 3.2kg making it easy to lift out of the cupboard and manoeuvre around the house, it has a comfortable low-profile handle which easily lets you gain access under tables, chairs and beds without the tedious chore of moving furniture around.

The AirRam uses a Powered brush head that helps move the device forward and has an AirLOC system that picks up large debris from the surface as you push the vacuum forwards, and locks on the backstroke to suck up embedded dust and dirt, the rotating brush bar makes it ideal for removing pet hair. The vacuum has a large 40L bin which is easily emptied, the dirt is compressed into the be bin and then emptied with a simple slide of the ejector arm, so you don’t have to get your hands in there. The removable 22V lithium-ion battery, provides you with about 40 minutes run-time but will take a lengthy 4-hour charge (standard charge time for cordless vacuums, there is a 4-stage LED display that indicates how much charge is left in the battery so you don’t get caught short halfway around the house). The removable feature means you can charge the battery without having to lay the entire body by the plug socket and you can always invest in a spare to ensure you never run out of power. The AirRam doesn’t have the option of wall mounting but it will stand by itself neatly out of the way in corner or in a cupboard, and there are some handy LED lights mounted in the front to help you spot hidden dirt lurking in dark corners. The brush bar runs the entire length of the floor head to help get up close to the skirting boards, it isn’t perfect but certainly gets closer than some if its competitors although it cannot be used on your stairs.

Fear not however, your stairs shall not fester in dirt this is where you whip out the handheld unit, the Multi MK2, to tackle those tricky confined spots. This is also a cordless clean that runs off the same battery as the AirRam, it is compact comes with a Power brush, Dusting brush and Crevice tool to get into all those nooks and crannies, and the extension tube will also help you reach those spaces high and low. You will get about 20mins power out the battery this time and there is a similar 4-stage LED battery life indicator as well as the LED headlights to see your surfaces clearly. The bin is opened with a simple latch, obviously considerably smaller than the upright, there is a lack of an ejector arm, so you may have to get your fingers in to remove compacted dirt. Weighing just 1.5kg, the Multi MK2 is very convenient to grab at the sign of a dropped crumb, it is also compact for easy storage but again doesn’t come with a wall mount option. Due to the lack of features and attachments of the upright it is limited in its performance, however when combined with the handheld you should be able to clean all areas of your home and vehicles. We did find the AirRam Upright a breeze to use, it moves smoothly from hard floors, to carpets to rugs and make light work of dirt and (thankfully) pet hair, the filter and brush can be removed for easy cleaning and maintenance, whilst the Multi MK2 handheld was lightweight and comfortable to manoeuvre around tighter areas.
