Inside the durable tin are two pens which allow you to write and reveal your own secret messages – a perfect tool kit for the spy among us!

The pens in the kit allow you to write messages, which once dried will disappear from the page and can only be revealed again when the other pen in the kit is scribbled over it. Once the other detective or spy has revealed the secret message, they can respond with their own pen which will also disappear from view, only to be revealed when the other pen in the kit is used over it too. This allows spies to communicate secretly – however, once the message is revealed it cannot be concealed again!

I especially loved that the set also includes a petri dish and brush, which allows you to carry out experiments. The included booklet highlights how things such as milk were used in history to write secret messages, and once heated up would reveal messages on the page. This allows little spies to understand the role and tools used for secret messages throughout history, adding a great little educational element to the kit too!
