The ExtremeMist 2 in 1 Hydration misting and cooling pack is comprised of two components, starting with the vest-style pack, this is a lightweight pack that hugs the body thanks to the ergonomic design, it doesn’t bounce when you walk for a more comfortable and balanced experience. There are two sizes to choose from: Small and Large (2L reservoir in each) both with nine pockets built in to the pack that allow you store all your essentials and keep them within easy reach. The pack has a vest-style fit, ensuring there is as little contact with your body as possible, whilst remaining secure. It has a frameless construction to keep the weight down however the combination of nylon construction and lack of ventilation system means you will probably end up with a juicy sweat patch on your back at the end of the day. There is a rubberised bite valve with an on/off lever that clips magnetically to the pack, an emergency whistle and night-time reflective strips so extra safety whilst out on your adventures.

This vest pack has been built to house the ExtremeMist PCS (personal cooling system), the second component to this misting and cooling pack, there is a stretchy mesh pocket for the PCS unit, rubberised hose portals and remote-control pockets so the PCS unit will install perfectly. The PCS provides a continuous fine mist in front of you, claiming to reduce the air temperature up to 30°F. The high-pressure pump has multiple speeds, all controlled via its wireless remote. At low speeds, water consumption is about 1.75 to 2.5 cups per hour of continuous use, and the battery lasts approximately 12 hours. The pack comes with a 2L hydration reservoir to provide both misting and drinking 2-In-1 Hydration.  Everything is fully installed and ready to go which includes the two hoses, quick-disconnect Y-connector, plug for using without the PCS misting pump,  elbow for mist head, L-connector for mist nozzle, mist nozzle, mist nozzle clip, adjustable lanyard, key fob remote control, wall charger, hose reducer for Y-connector, two drink hose adapters and two adapters for packs with larger diameter drink hoses. All this cooling tech adds just a bit of weight (1 LB) to your typical hydration pack (2.13lb before you have filled it with water or your gear), however once you are up and moving it doesn’t feel too heavy as the weight is evenly distributed across your body.
