Upon opening the W320TN earbuds I was thrilled with the sleek case in a stylish dark grey colour - a nice change from the large number of black earbuds on the market. Inside the case are the two minimalist earbuds with the Edifier logo printed delicately on each one. Connecting to my phone couldn’t have been simpler, as the earbuds support Google fast pairing with Android phones. However, I also tested the earbuds with a friend's iPhone and a similarly fast connection was also possible.

The earbuds are designed to have a super comfortable open fit which ensures they are ergonomic and lightweight for a great listening experience. The W320TN’s have also been designed to reduce noise leakage to bring you clear sound and high-quality active noise cancellation (ANC). The ANC of the earbuds is measured through an AI algorithm to deliver the perfect level of noise cancellation to drown out external noise, whilst still feeling aware of the world around you. As someone who finds complete noise cancellation a little weird and unsafe when walking to work, the earbuds made a perfect choice for minimising background noise whilst still allowing me to be aware of my surroundings for peace of mind.

A great feature of the W320TN’s is their wear detection design which uses infrared sensors to detect when you take the earbuds out. This means that it keeps the ANC and music going when you’re wearing them, but when you pop them out the ANC turns off and the music stops so you never miss a thing. This, paired with the 27 hours of battery life between the case and earbuds makes them a great choice for taking with you on the go - you can start and stop your music with ease knowing they will survive all day on a single charge.  

Overall, if top-quality ANC, comfortable fit, excellent sound, and reliable battery life are what you’re looking for then these are the earbuds for you. I was thrilled with the performance of the buds as they are comparable to some audio devices three times their price, and, as we begin looking towards the festive season, these would make a great gift for the music lover in your life.
