GEOMAG Mechanics Motion Flywheels

£22

The GEOMAG Mechanics range has reproduced the famous ball bearing invented by Leonardo Da Vinci and created a new original line of magnetic constructions. The set allows children to explore the laws of mechanics in a much more accessible way through the process of actively building structures. The Flywheel set uses this scientific approach to create structures that use the repulsive forces of the magnets to create motion without contact.

Included in the set are 96 pieces which provide children with endless building possibilities, and movement without contact. Using polarities the set is designed by GEOMAG to allow structures to move on the ball bearings and allow for the magnetic gears to keep the models in motion.

Like all GEOMAG products, the set is made with 98% recycled plastic and comes in packaging made of 70% recycled products. The sustainability aspect of the GEOMAG ranges made them a great choice for kids being both educational and good for the planet. Furthermore, all parts of the Mechanics Motion Flywheels set can be used with other products from the Mechanics Motion Gear line to be a great addition to existing sets your kids may already have!

Overall, the GEOMAG Mechanics Motion Flywheels give your kids a fun and educational way to understand Da Vinci’s ball bearings in a practical way. By building structures and using polarities to make them move, the set brings many construction possibilities for an endless amount of playtime!

Pros:

- Educational learning in a practical and easy way

- Works with other ranges in the Mechanics Motion Gear line

- Made with recycled 98% recycled plastic

Cons:

- Ball bearings can be easily lost if they are not magnetised to the building model
