Getting a good night's sleep is one of the most valuable things we can do to set ourselves up for the day ahead. But for many of us, getting to sleep and staying asleep can be a big struggle so we often turn to sleeping masks to block out light and help us to stay asleep. However, I’m sure I am not the only one who has experienced sleeping masks sliding down during sleep, or pressing uncomfortably in different sleeping positions which ultimately wakes you up! There’s nothing worse than an eye mask that feels rough across the eyes or uncomfortably squishes you. I tested out the Mavogel Mask for a few nights and was impressed with just how comfortable it felt, I did worry that being a little larger than other ones I’ve used it might be a big heavy or press excessively on the sides of my head, but it didn’t, and I got a great night’s sleep.

One of my favourite aspects of the Mavogel Sleep Mask is that it has an ergonomic design to ensure that no light gets in through the nose section – something that many other sleeping masks on the market struggle to do. The nose section has a patented bending cartilage design which can be adjusted to your nose share to firmly block out all light no matter which way you turn in your sleep. This was a game changer for me as the current light mornings mean that I’ve been waking up so much earlier as light comes into my room. However, now with the Mavogel Sleep Mask, I can get in those precious few hours of sleep in the morning before my alarm goes off.

I already know this will be a game changer this summer whilst on long-haul flights. With this mask and some great noise-cancellation headphones, I’m going to be having a lovely peaceful sleep on my future trips!
