Made to withstand the wear that comes with DJing, whilst providing crystal clear audio perfect for fine-tuning your mixes, Pioneers DJ headphones match the quality of some of the top DJing headphones in the market, but for only a fraction of the price!

Opening the box, I was impressed by the quality of the headphones in their sleek black design. The headband feels sturdy but lightweight, and the ear cuffs are super cushioned for comfort wearing. The design is flexible to suit your everyday or DJing needs, as you can rotate the ear cuffs 90° so one sits firmly on your ear whilst the other sits on the back of your head comfortably. This makes DJing super functional, but, for me, it made listening to music whilst staying aware of my surroundings much easier whilst on a walk. One thing for certain is that the headphones are made to last, having passed many tests to ensure their durability for all the stresses that DJing puts on the headset.

However, I was most impressed by the sound. Designed with dynamic drivers, the headphones allow you to feel every note with crystal-clear precision. For a music enjoyer, this made every song perfectly balanced and clear for a great listening experience, but this is designed to allow DJs to mix with pin-point precision - which I’m sure is a breeze with these headphones. The HDJ-CUE1BT-K model includes specialist tuning like many of the pro-level headphone models to perfectly hear low frequencies, clear bass, and kick drums exactly as the final mix will sound for your budding audience.

The ease of use with this headphone model is largely due to the strong Bluetooth connectivity that allows on-the-go and wireless music enjoyment. However, the box also includes a coiled cable to plug straight into your device or DJ set-up if this is preferred. Furthermore, as a DJ you want to bring your own sense of style to your music, and the Pioneer DJ HDJ-CUE1BT-K allows you to fully customize your headphones by changing the colours of the earpads and cable to represent this style. However, the changeable earpads and wires must be purchased separately.

Overall, the headphones provide the average user with great audio quality with up to 30 hours of music playback times with a range of tuning options. However, for the budding DJ, this set is perfect for stepping into the world of music mixing whilst still being affordable. The flexibility, durability and customizability make them the perfect choice for any music listener, or DJ wanting to level up their listening experience.
