I’ve been a fan of Stanley products for a long time, and from my very first Quencher Tumbler, I’ve been hooked on the brand. Each piece of drinkware from Stanley is designed to insulate your drink, be super easy to clean and ensure that you always have a drink on hand. Therefore, I was super excited to test out the IceFlow Slip Straw 2.0 Bottle that brings together all the great things about the Ice Flow, but now with a flip straw for even easier drinking on the go.

The IceFlow Flip Straw 2.0 Bottle we got to test out came in a lovely hot coral colour, which is a nice mix of orange and red with a matte effect exterior. The tall bottle is nice and slimline, making it cup holder friendly, whilst still having a large capacity inside. We tested the 1.1 litre size, which offers plenty of drink capacity, and thanks to the AeroLight design, the bottle still remains pretty lightweight even whilst completely full. To ensure your drink stays at the perfect temperature, the bottle features double-wall vacuum insulation, which can keep drinks cold for up to 12 hours, and even longer if iced.

I’m a big fan of the Flip Straw 2.0 design, which allows you to easily sip on your drink. Most insulated bottles have a round opening from which you drink; however, I like that you don’t need to remove the lid, you just flip up the straw, and you can sip away. Then, when you flip the straw back down, it seals the lid, offering a leak-proof bottle perfect for throwing in your gym or work bag to stay hydrated on the go. One of the other nifty aspects of the IceFlow Flip Straw 2.0 Bottle is that it comes with a carrying handle from the top. The top metal carrying handle can be folded down for drinking or pulled up above the straw for carrying. This handle means that the bottle is super easy to carry with you on outdoor adventures and walks.

For cleaning, Stanley products are the best, as the bottle and lid can be put in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. I was glad to see that you can even take off the spout and internal straw for a more thorough clean. I personally like to throw the main bottle in the dishwasher, and then hand-wash the lid, straw and spout with a straw cleaner in the sink for a deep clean between uses. Therefore, in terms of cleaning, the IceFLow Flip Straw 2.0 Bottle is super good, and makes the dreaded task of washing up a little bit less daunting. 

Like with all Stanley products, they are more of an investment, priced a little higher than some other insulated bottles on the market. However, this price seems to be reflected in the durability, ease of washing and long-lasting insulation that they provide. Therefore, I would recommend any Stanley products as a great Christmas present option, and especially the Flip Straw 2.0 Bottle for its convenient drinking straw, superb insulation and leak-free design.
